Cod Skewers with Basil Chimichurri

Pieces of marinated Cod, grape tomatoes, & zucchini layered on a skewer and grilled to perfection.  Served with our basil chimichurri for the dipping.   Set on a bed of orzo pasta with sun-dried tomatoes & artichokes.

 

Salmoné with a Herb Mustard Glaze

Fresh Atlantic Salmon brushed with our herbed mustard glaze and oven-baked to perfection.  Served with roasted red skinned potatoes and green beans.

 

Salmon Cakes with Lemon Fettuccini

Housemade Salmon cakes pan seared to perfection and set on a bed of fettuccini pasta infused with fresh lemon zest and parsley in our Chardonnay wine broth.  Garnished with fresh grated Romano cheese.

 

Warm Shrimp Salad

Peppery Arugula tossed with fresh lemon juice, cannellini beans, shallots, hunks of toasted garlic rubbed country bread.  Topped with pan seared shrimp.

 

 

All above entrées served with house salad, roll & butter.

Recipe of the Month

Garlic Roast Chicken with Rosemary & Lemon

Ingredients:

*2 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into large chunks

*6 cloves of garlic, crushed

*3 tablespoons fresh Rosemary leaves stripped from stems

*3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

*1 lemon, zested and juiced

*1 tablespoon grill seasoning blend (Montreal Seasoning)

*1/2 cup Ferrante's Gruner Veltliner

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Arrange chicken in a baking dish, 9x13.  Add garlic, rosemary, extra-virgin olive oil, lemon zest and grill seasoning to the dish.  Toss and coat the chicken with all ingredients, then place in oven.  Roast 20minutes.  Add wine adn lemon jucie to the dish and combine with pan juices.  Return to oven and turn off.  Let stand 5 minutes longer then remove the chicken from the oven. 

Serve with a glass of Ferrante's Gruner Veltliner!

Upcoming Events

Wine N Bloom

May 2nd & 3rd and May 9th, & 10th

A self driving wine trail. Noon to 6pm each day. Enjoy wine samples and appetizers at each of the participating wineries. Collect a different flowering annual plant at each winery. At a designated winery you will pick up a peck basket to carry your plants and a wine glass per person.
Your ticket will be good for all 4 days. In other words, you have 4 days to visit all the participating wineries.
